Job summary

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Advanced Social Worker to join Liverpool City Council's Fostering Support and Supervision Team. You will provide ongoing support, supervision, and professional guidance to foster carers to ensure safe, stable and nurturing placements for children and young people in care.

You will participate in safeguarding activities, complete supervision visits, and contribute to high standards of fostering practice while promoting positive outcomes for children in care.

Qualifications

• Social Work England registration.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK license.
• Post-qualified experience.
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support, supervision and professional guidance to foster carers to meet Fostering Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Fostering Standards.
• Complete regular supervision visits and annual foster carer reviews to maintain high-quality placements.
• Make child-centred decisions in complex cases to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
