Job summary

SJC Partners Limited’s Forensic Data Analytics team provides advanced analytics services to support high-profile, sensitive client matters such as real-time fraud detection, investigations, financial crime, disputes and litigation.

The role covers end-to-end delivery across the full data lifecycle—data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), analysis, visualization, deployment and client delivery—using Python, SQL and BI tools like Power BI, while mentoring junior team members and aligning

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in SQL and Python with experience in Azure Data Factory and/or Databricks.
• Familiar with visualization techniques and multiple programming languages.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support high-profile client matters with fraud analytics and financial crime expertise.
• Scope projects with clients and gather requirements.
• Deliver end-to-end analytics projects across the data lifecycle (ETL, analysis, visualization, deployment).
• Handle large structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
• Explain analytics outputs to clients in business terms.
• Supervise and ensure quality of junior team members.
• Develop algorithms to detect fraud, misconduct and financial crime patterns.
• Create visuals to clearly present benefits of analysis to clients.
• Collaborate with technology, innovation and business development teams.
