Caledonian Recruitment Group Ltd. is seeking a Lead Fire Risk Assessor to join our established fire safety team in a hybrid role with UK-wide travel. The position leads on risk assessments, quality assurance, and technical guidance for clients.

You will mentor junior assessors, coordinate workloads, and ensure compliance with fire safety legislation and standards while delivering high-quality reports across diverse premises.

Formación

• Substantial experience undertaking and reviewing fire risk assessments.
• Level 4 or higher fire risk assessment qualification, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, British Standards and assessment methodologies.
• Understanding of means of escape, compartmentation, fire doors and fire safety management.
• Experience mentoring assessors or providing technical oversight.
• Excellent report writing, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise urgent risks and manage workloads.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake fire risk assessments across a wide range of premises, including complex buildings.
• Review and quality assure reports, risk ratings, recommendations and technical accuracy.
• Identify and elevate urgent life safety concerns appropriately.
• Lead, support and mentor other assessors through feedback and guidance.
• Coordinate workloads, meet deadlines and maintain quality.
• Advise clients on findings, remedial actions and fire safety improvements.
• Maintain procedures and stay updated with legislation and guidance.
• Keep accurate records and support audits and QA processes.
