Job summary

Hunter Dunning Limited in Leeds is seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to lead complex fire engineering projects across RIBA Stages 4 and 5, reporting to an Associate level fire engineer. The role spans design, assessment, and client liaison within a leading fire consultancy.

You will mentor graduates, contribute to workshops, and help deliver safe, compliant fire strategies across sectors, with hybrid working and strong CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Project manage from start to end including financials, quality management planning and customer care
• Client facing through the lifecycle of projects

Senior Fire Engineer job in Leeds, for an established and leading fire consultancy. As a key part of the Fire Engineering team, you will be working through all stages of complex fire engineering projects and reporting to an Associate level fire engineer. The role offers a salary of £50,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + 27 Days Holiday + BH + hybrid working + healthcare + continuous CPD / professional development.

Role & Responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience

• Engineering Council Accredited BEng Hons, MEng or MSc
• CEng, MRICS, MCABE or working towards
• Minimum associate member of IFE
• Extensive experience in delivering fire-engineered solutions for UK based projects
• Strong understanding of UK legislation/regulations and design guidance (will also consider applicants from New Zealand or Australia with similar regulations)
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, working to tight deadlines
• UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.
