Job summary

Michael Page in the UK seeks a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee statutory accounts, consolidation packs, and month-end close across all entities. You will ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced retail environment based in Uxbridge.

You will also manage the external audit process, liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders, and support taxation and financial controls. The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent and strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, statutory accounting, and audit management.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Exposure to taxation principles and financial controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and publication of statutory accounts for all entities
• Manage the annual external audit process, acting as the liaison between auditors and internal stakeholders
• Oversee month-end reporting activities including P&L, balance sheet reviews, journal postings, and general ledger reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of Group consolidation packs
• Investigate and resolve complex accounting and reporting issues
• Assist on tax compliance, reporting obligations, audits, and external advisor relationships
