Job summary

IDEX Consulting Ltd is recruiting an experienced Financial Planner to manage an existing client bank across the West of Scotland. The role is predominantly field-based with flexibility to work remotely when not meeting clients, and offers excellent back-office support to enable you to focus on client relationships and holistic planning.

Qualifications

• Experienced Financial Planner with proven client relationships and holistic advice.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or higher is required.
• Strong knowledge across pensions, investments, retirement and estate planning.
• Experience managing and developing an existing client portfolio; trusts/trust planning is essential.
• Chartered status desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Inherit an established client bank and provide holistic financial planning.
• Build long-term relationships and identify opportunities to develop clients.
• Advise clients with complex financial planning requirements, including trusts.
• Work with a back-office function to maximise client-facing time.
