Job summary

VWFS UK is seeking an experienced Financial Crime Manager to prevent, detect, investigate and mitigate financial crime across the organisation. You will be the single point of contact for reported financial crime, lead a talented team and shape the financial crime strategy.

This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, opportunities to implement advanced analytics, and to drive robust controls and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced automotive finance environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading financial crime investigations.
• Knowledge of UK AML regulations.
• Experience in automotive financial services or regulated financial services.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Financial Crime team.
• Provide second-line oversight of risk across VWFS and VW Bank.
• Drive analytics and innovative solutions to strengthen fraud detection.
• Lead investigations and draft SAR/DAML submissions, ensuring robust risk assessment and reporting.
• Represent VWFS in industry forums and with senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial crime policies and procedures to align with regulations.
