Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment has identified an exciting Senior Financial Reporting & Compliance Analyst opportunity based in Oxfordshire. The role covers financial reporting, regulatory compliance, forecasting and audit with exposure to senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or part-qualified/actively studying) with strong Excel and data analysis skills, and experience in a regulated or complex finance environment.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, part-qualified or actively studying.
• Experience in financial reporting, audit, compliance, or a complex finance environment.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of FRS 102 / UK GAAP would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial and regulatory submissions.
• Produce monthly actuals and compliance reporting.
• Analyse financial data to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support external audits, including preparation of working papers.
• Partner with Finance teams on budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare technical papers and interpret financial regulations.
• Support senior leadership with analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
• Monitor changes to relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.
