Job summary

Boeing Defence UK is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the UK team, providing essential financial support across programmes. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Programme Management, Engineering and Supply Chain, and requires proactive, analytical thinking in a fast-paced environment.

You will engage in full-cycle project accounting, EAC, and variance analysis, while contributing to forecasting and strategic financial direction for the UK Defence business.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operations-facing finance team acting as a business partner to operational managers and executives.
• Ability to establish reporting drums and processes as a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior financial analyst providing financial support to the management team for timely decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Programme Management, Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Provide full-cycle project accounting support from proposal development to contract closure.
• Perform EAC support with cross-functional teams and present to Senior Leadership.
• Apply Earned Value Management techniques to interpret monthly performance and drive mitigation plans.
• Extract data and compile performance reports; assist variance analyses.
• Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting across designated areas and contracts.
• Quantify Risks and Opportunities and support mitigation to drive profitability.
• Assess programme performance including Orders, Revenue, Earnings & Cash.
• Support standardization across the wider BDUK Financial Analysis team.
