Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst, Consolidations to join the International (OUS) Consolidations team. This role supports consolidations across multiple countries and focuses on accurate financial results, intercompany eliminations, variance analysis, and robust reporting.

Based in a multinational environment, you will collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure timely submissions and uphold internal controls.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or progress toward qualification preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in finance, accounting, reporting, or consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation entries.
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and reporting packages for management and statutory purposes.
• Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations of consolidated financial results.
• Help establish and maintain best-in-class consolidation processes and analytics tools.
• Collaborate with regional and local finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial submissions.

The Senior Financial Analyst, Consolidations supports the accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial results for DePuy Synthes across four regions (EMEA, APAC, LATAM and Canada). This role plays an important part in ensuring financial integrity across legal entities by supporting consolidation activities, variance analysis, and reporting and analytics. The position offers exposure to global finance operations, with opportunities to build strong reporting expertise within a complex, multinational organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation entries.
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and reporting packages for management and statutory purposes.
• Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations of consolidated financial results.

Required qualificationsand experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required)
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or progress toward qualification (preferred)
• 4-6 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, or consolidation
• Foundational knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles
  Strong analytical and problem-solver skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with financial data and reporting systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial analysis tools
• Ability to meet deadlines in a structured reporting environment
  Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

• Experience supporting consolidation, statutory reporting, or audit activities
• Exposure to IFRS and/or US GAAP
• Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization
• Familiarity with consolidation or ERP systems (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, OneStream)
• Professional accounting qualification and certifications
