Colleagues across all departments are truly passionate about what they do, and it is constantly inspiring to work with industry leaders across all segments of the business.

Why This Role Matters

The role sits within the central Group FP&A team and is responsible for delivering high-quality management information, financial planning, and actionable insight to senior stakeholders across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of Group budgeting and forecasting, Executive and Board reporting, and the consolidation and analysis of Group financial results.

Working closely with the Group FP&A Manager, the role will support strategic decision-making through robust financial analysis, business partnering, and continuous improvement of reporting processes and systems. Attention to detail, accuracy, advanced financial modelling capability, and strong finance systems experience are essential for success in this role.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Support Group FP&A activities, including month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis across the Group.
  • Lead the consolidation, analysis, and presentation of financial results, preparing reporting and insights for Executive Committee, Board, AFRM, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Manage key planning processes, including financial modelling, forecasting assumptions, scenario analysis, commentary, adjustments, and the coordination of deliverables across the business.
  • Partner effectively with Finance Business Partners and business leaders, providing value-adding financial insight, decision support, and analysis of performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting, controls, systems, and planning processes, promoting best practice and standardisation across Commercial Finance, including support for Hyperion and related reporting tools.
  • Support strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects through financial analysis, business cases, stakeholder engagement, and other commercial finance activities as required.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Experience
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience, ideally gained within a top-tier accounting firm and/or a commercial finance environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Management Reporting, or a similar finance function, supporting decision-making within a complex organisation.
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and management reporting, including the consolidation and analysis of financial results.
  • Experience preparing high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and presentations for senior management and executive audiences.
  • Proficiency in financial planning and reporting systems, with experience leveraging these tools to improve reporting, analysis, and business insight.
Skills
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable business insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil financial information into clear, concise messages for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness, coupled with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and sound financial judgement.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong finance systems capability, including experience with Hyperion Planning, JDE, or similar financial planning and reporting tools.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, drive deliverables, and work independently when required.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Collaborative relationship-builder, capable of partnering and influencing stakeholders across the organisation while contributing positively as part of a team.
