Job summary

Amazon Digital UK Limited is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support EMEA operational accounting for Prime Video. The role requires ownership of close processes, strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and the ability to drive automation and process improvements across finance teams in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent credentials, solid experience with monthly close and financial reporting, and excellent communication skills to partner with business units

Key job responsibilities

• Supporting aspects of our accounting and reporting process.


• End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners.


• Understand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.


• Execute judgment and ensure the right decisions are reached to accurately report financial results.


• Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis


• Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes


• ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar credentials required


• Experience of a monthly close cycle, periodic financial reporting and related analytical analysis with a knowledge of various GAAP accounting rules including US GAAP and IFRS

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent analytical skills


• Experience working with a fast-paced, high-tech start-up or complex company


• Demonstrated history of solving multiple complex operational and accounting challenges


• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills


• Experience working with Oracle
