Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Finance Reporting Lead in the UK to own monthly management accounts and statutory reporting, driving automation and delivering insights. You will work with senior stakeholders to ensure accuracy and drive excellence, shaping financial processes across the UK team.

You will prepare management accounts, analyze PSP reconciliations, coordinate balance sheet reconciliations, support IFRS controls, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Full accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with relevant experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) operations.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with an analytical, problem-solving mindset.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of effective teamwork.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to driving process efficiencies and business performance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools like Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements, ensuring complete compliance.
• Analyze complex areas such as PSP reconciliations and staff cost forecasts.
• Coordinate balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for UK-related queries raised by Group Controllers.
• Support internal audit processes and ensure adherence to IFRS and controls.
• Lead UK financial system enhancements, reporting automations, and cross-functional workflow projects.
• Mentor and support the ongoing professional development of junior finance team members.
