Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant in West Suffolk on a hybrid basis. You will own complex accounting matters, provide IFRS and VAT expertise, and support statutory reporting and robust financial controls across a large organisation.

Working with senior finance leadership, you will help shape accounting policy, drive improvements, and support finance transformation projects while coaching finance teams and ensuring timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge including IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Significant VAT experience, including preparation and review of VAT returns.
• Experience of preparing technical accounting papers and recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP systems experience.
• Background within a large, complex organisation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

A leading organisation is seeking a technically strong, qualified accountant to join in a newly created specialist position. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to take ownership of complex accounting matters and become the go-to expert across multiple areas of financial reporting and compliance.

Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will provide technical accounting expertise across a diverse range of areas including IFRS, VAT, fixed assets, lease accounting and treasury. You will play a key role in maintaining robust financial controls, supporting statutory reporting, driving accounting best practice and delivering finance transformation initiatives.
