Job summary

SGN in Glasgow seeks a Senior Finance Systems Analyst to oversee core finance systems, including Oracle and Planning Analytics (TM1). You will support system improvements, drive productivity, and build strong stakeholder relationships across Finance and the wider business.

The role requires TM1 certification and SQL proficiency, with intermediate Python, Django, and Airflow knowledge. You will mentor junior staff and lead automated solutions for efficiency.

Qualifications

• IBM TM1 certification or equivalent (TM1/Planning Analytics) experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Python and Django
• Intermediate knowledge of Apache Airflow and its applications
• Awareness of cloud technologies and their applications
• Experience administering TM1/Planning Analytics and Oracle systems
• Experience in coaching and mentoring teams

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach junior team members to ensure finance systems run effectively
• Ensure data in primary systems is correct, controlled and maintained
• Ensure BORIS/TM1 and CIPS function as expected
• Develop Management Information and reporting
• Lead month-end control and timely closure of accounts
• Develop automation solutions to improve performance and cost efficiency
