Job summary

ClearBank Ltd is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for UK Finance to provide strategic financial leadership across the UK Bank, reporting to the UK CFO. You will oversee planning, performance insights, and regulatory alignment while partnering with the leadership team on critical commercial decisions.

You will challenge and influence senior stakeholders, drive robust forecasting, and ensure timely reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience in financial services.
Broad finance experience including control, reporting, planning and commercial finance.
Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.

Responsibilities

Deputise for the UK CFO, including interactions with the Board and Executive Committee.
Lead UK Finance relationship with Group Finance, ensuring regulatory and operational requirements.
Maintain independent oversight of the UK Bank’s financial position and validate Group outputs.
Lead UK budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
Partner with UK leadership on business cases, profitability and strategic decisions.
Support regulatory submissions and preparation of Board papers.
Monitor compliance with regulatory and prudential requirements; escalate risks.
Improve financial processes and reporting for clarity and timeliness.
Act as trusted adviser to the UK CFO and senior stakeholders.
Contribute financial leadership to growth planning and resilience.
