A leading construction firm in Winchester is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to manage daily financial operations. Responsibilities include preparing management accounts, overseeing year-end processes, and managing ledgers. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in finance, be qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA), and possess strong knowledge of CIS and VAT processes. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a finance role, preferably in the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of CIS and reverse VAT processes.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for directors.
• Oversee year-end processes and ensure accurate financial records.
• Manage sales and purchase ledgers, invoicing, and work-in-progress tracking.
• Administer PAYE, VAT, CIS returns, and payments.
• Process nominal ledger journals and adjustments.
