An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Team at Wye Valley NHS Trust in Herefordshire. As a Senior Finance Manager you will oversee the financial management of the PFI Expiry project, working collaboratively with operational leadership and clinical teams, and be a key part of the Finance Senior Leadership team. The post holder will have a senior role in the financial performance management of the PFI Expiry project and be expected to support, challenge and positively influence financial management, working collaboratively to improve efficiency, effectiveness and achieve best use of resources. This role is based across the main NHS sites in Herefordshire while embracing the option of agile working, through a combination of on-site working and working from home, should this flexibility be attractive to the right candidate.

The aim of the role is to provide proactive financial leadership of the highest possible standard advising on all aspects of financial management.
The role requires an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work as a Senior Finance Manager. This role will take the lead on all financial aspects of the transition from the existing PFI arrangements to the future services model in pursuit of agreed strategic objectives for the project. This will involve financial modelling to assess the Value for Money of multiple options. The post holder will work closely with the PFI Expiry and Future Facilities Management (FM) service project teams to professionally influence decision making regarding the future FM service provision ensuring value for money and in line with the agreed risk profile. Once the preferred model is agreed, the post holder will provide leadership and accountable financial management to the project setting up the services, ensuring the Trust's, NHS England (NHSE), Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and Central Government's financial governance is adhered to.
