The Opportunity

I'm seeking a Senior Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function’s operational delivery, leading a team of 5 and partnering closely with a forward-thinking CFO. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll have real influence over how finance operates, from streamlining workflows to developing your team’s capabilities.

Your Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a finance team of 5, building their technical skills and confidence
  • Drive performance and accountability while maintaining a supportive, collaborative atmosphere
  • Act as the operational heartbeat of the finance department

Operational Excellence

  • Refine and accelerate the monthly financial close cycle
  • Champion process enhancements across all aspects of financial operations
  • Spearhead system improvements and automation opportunities to drive efficiency
  • Deliver high-quality management accounts and financial reporting

Strategic Contribution

  • Collaborate with the CFO on key projects and commercial initiatives
  • Translate financial data into actionable business intelligence
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation
The Ideal Candidate

Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable experience in a Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller capacity within a business of comparable complexity
  • Strong financial accounting foundations coupled with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Track record of successfully managing and developing finance teams
  • Comfortable with systems and technology-experience with modern ERP platforms advantageous
  • Excellent communicator who can engage effectively with all levels of the business
