Job summary

Agora Talent is seeking a Senior Finance Manager – Corporate Support in Manchester for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role blends leadership of a finance team with deep IFRS technical accounting across corporate and store estate responsibilities.

You will drive balance sheet integrity, statutory reporting and governance while coaching senior staff and partnering with stakeholders. Strong Excel skills and experience with automation tools such as Alteryx are highly valued, enabling scalable

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Post-qualification experience in a large, complex business.
• Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge.
• Experience in property/store estate accounting and lease accounting.
• Ability to provide clear accounting guidance to non-finance stakeholders.
• Proven people leadership and coaching capability.
• Excellent Excel skills; familiarity with Alteryx or similar automation tools.

• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals in a complex environment.
• Own technical accounting advice and judgement across retail, property and group activities.
• Lead store estate accounting, including lease events and impairments.
• Own balance sheet integrity, statutory reporting and financial controls.
• Support governance, audit readiness and high-quality financial outputs.
• Partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders to provide clear accounting guidance.
