Job summary

Burberry in Leeds is recruiting a Senior Manager, Finance Compliance on a 12-month fixed-term contract to strengthen the global financial governance framework. Based in the Leeds office, you will embed robust internal controls, lead SOX-aligned controls where applicable and partner with Audit and Technology teams to support a controls-reliant business.

You will oversee RACMs, MACs and key controls, manage SoD in SAP environments, and promote a strong controls culture across Finance and the wider

Qualifications

• Experience designing, operating or enhancing financial risk and control frameworks in large organisations.
• Strong technical understanding of internal controls, SOX, financial risk and fraud prevention.
• Experience managing RACMs, MACs and key controls during transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation and enhancement of the Finance Internal Controls Framework, including SOX-aligned controls.
• Govern RACMs, MACs and key process documentation; assess changes from business activity or transformation.
• Act as Finance controls SME, support projects, regulatory developments and change initiatives.
• Partner with internal and external auditors to strengthen the control environment.
• Oversee SAP access controls and SoD, coordinating with Technology to remediate risks.
• Promote a strong controls culture across Finance and the wider business; educate stakeholders on ITGCs.
