We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Finance Business Partner - Every Day Banking.

This role will present you with genuine strategic impact and breadth of responsibilities. The role involves leading finance activities for business areas including Cash FX, Global Money, Overdraft, and Debit Card. The role holder may at times also need to provide support for Deposits and Customer segments. It offers the opportunity to deliver executive management information, strategic analysis, planning, forecasting, stress testing, and to business partner the Everyday Banking teams. Additionally, the role allows for collaboration with senior stakeholders, driving productive change, and influencing business decisions through trusted insights and forward‑looking analysis. This position is ideal for someone with a commercial mindset, strong communication skills, customer focused and a drive to thrive in a fast‑changing, results‑driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Finance Activities: Provide Finance Business Partnering for Cash FX, Global Money, Overdraft, and Debit Card in RBW UK, including reporting, forecasting, stress testing and strategic analysis for senior management.
  • Deliver Financial Insights: Provide sound financial advice and business insights on financial performance, risks, opportunities, and challenges related to revenues, margins, and balances.
  • Manage Ad‑hoc Requests: Plan and manage ad‑hoc requests and queries from the business to ensure relevant and timely responses.
  • Maintain Governance and Control: Sustain a strong governance mindset and ensure an adequate control framework is in place.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Represent Cash FX, Global Money, Overdraft, and Debit Card in projects and discussions, sustain collaborative relationships, and continuously improve finance processes and tools to enhance efficiency and insight generation.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Business Partnering: Demonstrable Business Partnering experience within a Finance function.
  • Financial Modelling and Data‑Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in financial modelling (e.g., forecasting, planning, stress testing) and using data to inform decisions.
  • Management Information Background: Strong background in management information (MI), including understanding content, production processes, and the ability to derive insights from reported numbers (e.g., Presenting and storytelling the data to a diverse and varied portfolio of stakeholders at all levels).
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Outstanding skills in communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to effect change in a large matrix organisation.
  • Commercial Mindset and Customer Focus: A commercial mindset with exceptional drive and commitment, focusing on customer needs.
  • Problem‑Solving Skills: Ability to identify problems, offer solutions, and drive execution in a collaborative environment.
  • Fast Paced: The ability to work and thrive in a fast changing, results‑driven environment whilst dealing with areas of ambiguity.
  • Finance Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with finance systems and good operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visualisation tools (Qlik or equivalent).
  • Understanding of Retail Banking Products: Knowledge of retail banking products is advantageous.
Location & Hybrid Working

The base location for this role will be Birmingham and the pattern will be hybrid.
