Senior Finance Business Partner

Location: Nottingham / Hybrid working

£70,000-£80,000 plus Benefits

Axon Moore is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join it a PE backed high growth business in the Nottingham area. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role reporting to the CFO and Commercial Finance Director, offering the opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and influence strategic decision-making at the highest level.

This position goes beyond traditional financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, challenging commercial decisions, and ensuring financial outcomes are aligned with long-term business objectives. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing insight, analysis, and guidance to drive sustainable performance.

  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver the strategic and financial plan for the business area
  • Lead financial insight, modelling, and scenario analysis to assess strategic options, investments, and growth opportunities
  • Influence key commercial decisions, including pricing, margin optimisation, and resource allocation
  • Challenge assumptions and priorities to ensure alignment between financial targets and business ambition
  • Own planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles, ensuring outputs are robust, ambitious, and actionable
  • Provide forward-looking analysis to identify risks, trends, and performance opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement in performance management, reporting, and strategic planning processes

Ideally you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience and be able todemonstrable experience influencing senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic decision-making to be considered.
