Job description

This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in our London office at least 2 days a week.

As the UK’s largest fibre‑only network, and its only proven wholesale challenger, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.

Designed from scratch for the internet, our network is greener, more reliable and ready for the future. The products we provide over it not only lead the market on speed, value and service, they help businesses to innovate, provide entire communities with a better foundation for their digital lives and support economic growth, locally and nationally.

What does that mean for you? The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for a lot of people!

Joining us as a Senior Finance Business Partner

Leading on business partnering across Design and Build teams, driving optimal financial performance across £0.5bn of CAPEX spend per annum.

You’ll receive a competitive salary, a performance‑related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

What you’ll be doing
  • Partner with E‑Team members to manage ~£0.5bn CAPEX programmes, evaluate performance, and align future implications to company targets and long‑range plans
  • Develop cohesive build and technology roadmaps based on business needs; assess financial impact and drive efficiency across short/long‑term cashflows and broader plans
  • Lead all financial planning processes (budgets, forecasts, long‑range planning); provide actionable insight and challenge on costs, KPIs, and business optimisation
  • Engage directly with senior leaders (Deputy CFO, Commercial Finance Director), manage direct reports, drive process improvements, and lead cross‑functional finance projects across a complex stakeholder landscape
What you’ll bring to the role
  • Significant experience operating at senior finance business partner level—or a standout track record as an exceptional finance business partner—demonstrated through impactful delivery across commercial finance
  • Clear evidence of driving results and value, with demonstrable success in managing complex financial initiatives and influencing business outcomes
  • Experience managing teams or mentoring others is desirable, bringing collaborative leadership and development skills
  • Background in telecoms or large capital investment programmes highly advantageous, showcasing familiarity with scale, infrastructure, and long‑range planning
