Job summary

Dron & Dickson in Stirling is seeking a Financial Reporting professional to assist with monthly management accounts and stock reporting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in finance, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in financial systems.

Type: Full-time

Financial Reporting

• Assist with monthly management accounts (including multi-currency reporting)
• Analyse product margin reports and investigate variances
• Support stock and inventory reporting
• Maintain financial ledgers for subsidiary companies
• Assist with year‑end, audit, and regulatory reporting

Stock & Inventory

• Reconcile stock to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and distribute stock ageing reports
• Support stock counts and audits
• Provide finance support to operational teams on stock‑related queries

Tax & Compliance

• Assist with VAT returns and wider tax compliance
• Support customs and duty processes
• Help prepare information for audits and regulatory submissions

Systems & Process Improvement

• Support ERP systems (Intact IQ / Business Central), particularly stock modules
• Contribute to improving finance processes and reporting accuracy

General Finance Support

• Assist with reconciliations, journals, and month‑end tasks
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis
• Build strong working relationships across the business

About You

• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
• Exposure to stock or inventory accounting (desirable)
• Part‑qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS) or working towards qualification (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Confident working with financial systems and Excel
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage your own workload
