Senior Finance Assistant | 9208 | Temporary Contract until 30 April 2027 | 37 hours per week | £31,537 to £33,699 per annum (Scale G) | County Hall, Norwich

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to begin their career in the finance profession within a large and dynamic organisation. The position sits within the Corporate Accounting Team and provides key support across its functions, while also maintaining close collaboration with the Council’s Payroll Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as performing monthly reconciliations of banks, payroll, and control accounts reconciliation; and assisting in the preparation of the Statement of Accounts.

We are seeking intelligent, diligent, and proactive individuals who are passionate about accounting and demonstrate both a positive attitude and a strong aptitude for learning. A commitment to excellence and a desire to contribute meaningfully to a local government finance service are essential.
