Location: Remote or hybrid, UK, with occasional in-person days in London.

Term: Full time, 35 hours a week.

Salary: £42,000 per annum.

The Role

The Senior Finance and Operations Administrator is a critical, multi-functional role supporting the financial, operational and administrative systems of GGF UK. The role reports to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as a liaison between grants management, operations and finance, owning specific financial processes intersecting grants payments, forex providers and internal systems.
  • Clarify and relay technical information across functions, ensuring high attention to detail and initiative.
  • Coordinate closely with the Director of Finance and Operations, providing proactive administrative support including diary management.
Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will have:

  • Significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, social justice or grant‑making organization.
  • Knowledge and experience in charity/non‑profit grant accounting, financial issues and grant processes; understanding accounting principles.
  • Experience of using banking services and payment experiences (including international payments).
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, precision and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and feedback skills; ability to work constructively in a virtual environment.
  • Fluency in English; multiple language skills would be ideal.
  • Commitment to GGF core values and guiding principles, with transparency, accountability and strategic risk management.
  • Strong interpersonal relationships and outstanding communication skills.
