Job summary

STADA Thornton & Ross in Reading is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the UK Finance team on a hybrid, full-time basis. You will drive financial insights, oversee rebates, and support investments to maximise ROI within our Specialty & Generics portfolio.

The role partners with commercial teams, leads budgeting/forecasting, and enhances processes through technology while ensuring robust audit controls and external reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven finance experience in medium to large commercial organisations, ideally within the Healthcare sector.
• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (preferably SAP), Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and AI tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, demonstrating the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines during high-volume workloads.
• A commitment to ethics, integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Rebates management: full ownership of commercial and governmental rebates, including forecasting, monthly accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process enhancement: leverage technology to automate processes and develop advanced analytics and actionable insights.
• Audit support: assist the Financial Accounting team with audit controls and external reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with budget owners and commercial teams to align spending with expectations and maximise ROI.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial insights, streamlining processes through technology, and supporting commercial investments that maximise returns. As part of our finance team, you will collaborate with commercial teams to ensure financial accuracy and drive profitable growth. Key responsibilities include:

• Rebates Management:
  • Full ownership of commercial and governmental rebates, including forecasting, monthly accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Partnering closely with commercial teams to ensure accurate accruals and assessing the financial impact of agreement changes.
• Supporting commercial teams in planning investments to maximise ROI.
• Collaborating with budget owners to align spending with expectations and ensure proper accounting.
• Process Enhancement:
  • Leveraging technology to automate processes and develop advanced analytics and actionable insights.
• Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial stability.
• Audit Support:
  • Assisting the Financial Accounting team with audit controls and external reporting requirements.

• Proven finance experience in medium to large commercial organisations, ideally within the Healthcare sector.
