Job summary

Unispace in London is seeking a Senior Consultant, FF&E to lead world-class furniture solutions across the region. You will be the FF&E expert on projects, ensuring packages are commercially sound, high-quality, and aligned with the client’s brand while mentoring junior consultants.

You will build strong supplier relationships, oversee drawings, specifications, and installations, engage clients in meetings and workshops, and drive continuous improvement across FF&E workflows within a

Qualifications

• Experience in FF&E across workplace design & build environments.
• Deep familiarity specifying commercial furniture products, systems and manufacturers.
• Proven commercial acumen and negotiations skills, with experience managing fees, proposals and vendor agreements.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications and installation operations.
• Experience mentoring or supporting others and contributing to team development.
• Proficiency in design tools, desktop publishing and CAD software (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of detailed furniture schedules from drawings, design proposals and project briefs.
• Provide client-facing FF&E advisory to meet project requirements, budgets, lead times and sustainability goals.
• Act as senior point of contact in client meetings, workshops and presentations.
• Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Oversee compliance with project specifications, standards and installation quality through site visits and coordination.
• Embed best practice, efficient processes and technology across FF&E workflows.

Role Profile:

As Senior Consultant, FF&E in our London studio, you will lead the delivery of world-class furniture solutions across the region. You will be the FF&E expert on our projects, making sure every furniture package is commercially sound, delivered to a high standard and true to the client’s brand, while mentoring junior consultants and helping shape how our FF&E team works.

• FF&EAdvisory:Giveclientsexpert,proactiveguidanceonfurnituresolutionsthatmeetprojectrequirements,budgets,leadtimesandsustainabilitygoals.
• ClientEngagement:Actasaseniorpointofcontactinclientmeetings,workshopsandpresentations,givingclientsclarityandconfidenceintheFF&Edirection.
• SupplierRelationships:Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithmanufacturers,suppliersandprojectstakeholderstosupportqualityandcommercialoutcomes.
• Quality&Compliance:Overseecompliancewithprojectspecifications,standardsandinstallationqualitythroughsitevisitsandcoordination.

Experienceyouwillhave:

• Experienceinafurnituredealership,manufacturerorworkplacedesign&buildenvironment(highlyadvantageous).
• Deepfamiliaritywithspecifyingcommercialfurnitureproducts,systemsandmanufacturers.
• Provencommercialacumenandnegotiationskills,withexperiencemanagingfees,proposalsandvendoragreements.
• Astrongunderstandingofdrawings,specificationsandinstallationoperations.
