Role Opportunity

So what's your next change? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wing Senior Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer to join the Wing Analysis Engineering team at Filton. Do you like connecting with people and different organisations?

How You Will Contribute To The Team
  • You will approve & authorise FDT deliverables and lead the resolution of FDT problems through the use of appropriate methods
  • You will be responsible to define/revise the overall assumptions and methods used to certify Outer Wing structures.
  • You will contribute to engineering solutions and ways of working borne from experience in aerospace, other industries or research environments.
  • You will act as a focal point for wing into Engineering FDT/Stress Authority, Chief Engineers team and Airworthiness Authorities
  • You will support the development of your team members on both technical and behavioural aspects
About You
  • Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analysis Approval and very close to holding, Authorisation delegated signatory for Fatigue & Damage Tolerance.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of Airbus F&DT analysis processes, methods and toolsets (ISAMI, GISEH, FEM/DFEM etc).
  • You have proven track record of Leading an engineering or project team and achieving delivery to time, cost and quality, finding creative solutions to complex problems, fostering Innovation and free thinking, developing your own and your team’s leadership capabilities to match the needs of a changing Airbus world.
  • You are able to make or influence decisions in a complex network of stakeholders and customers. Not a 100% match?
