You will diagnose equipment issues, plan maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating contractor activities.

Qualifications

• HNC in Engineering or equivalent.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience in radioactive environments including contamination control.
• Experience preparing safe systems of work, risk assessments and method statements.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and technical docs; CMMS usage.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Maintain safe, efficient operation of Waste Services facilities, plant and equipment.
• Diagnose equipment and facility issues; monitor performance; support maintenance activities.
• Coordinate contractor activities; prepare work packages; ensure safety and technical compliance.
• Plan and track maintenance; maintain records; lead maintenance reviews.
• Support facility officers with engineering projects and new equipment introductions.
• Contribute to design, construction, installation and commissioning of waste processing equipment.
