Here at Kingston College, we are now seeking a practical, reliable and proactive Senior Facilities Officer to help keep Kingston College safe, well maintained and welcoming for students, staff and visitors. You will be part of a supportive team that takes pride in maintaining great spaces for learning and working ensuring the site runs smoothly.

As first point of contact, you will take the lead on day-to-day maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, carpentry and decorating, recording and tracking jobs through the College helpdesk system. You will support and monitor contractors and conduct regular building checks to spot and report any issues.

As our Senior Facilities Officer, we would like you to have experience in building or facilities maintenance, confident in carrying out a range of practical maintenance tasks. You will understand health and safety in a facilities environment and will be comfortable using basic computer systems (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, helpdesk software).

An organised, proactive individual able to manage their own workload, you will work well with others and communicate effectively with staff and contractors. A trade qualification (e.g. City & Guilds or NVQ) is desirable, as is supervisory experience and experience with heating, fire or security systems.
