Job summary

A leading engineering services company in London is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer for a contract role. The focus is on Oil & Gas facilities engineering, requiring strong knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have robust experience in evaluation and engineering tasks, and will provide mentorship to junior engineers. The position offers 4 days in the office, 1 day WFH, with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Robust experience and understanding of O&G facility engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Expertise in process simulation software and equipment sizing.
  • Experience in O&G facility engineering evaluation on upstream assets.
  • General knowledge of the offshore engineering, fabrication and construction industry.
  • Strong analytical skill and effectively communicate technical data.
  • Commercial awareness – recognising the value of the technical work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Familiar with new technologies related to Oil & Gas and Renewables.
  • Review and comment on the proposed scope, schedule, and cost for the project.
  • Assist in building CIMS processes, workflows, and standards for facility evaluations.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Senior Facilities Engineer on a contract basis. 4 days a week in the office in west London with 1 day WFH per week.

Role:
  • Keep yourself familiar with new technologies and best practices relate to current M&A/ NVprojects for Oil & Gas as well as Renewables;
  • As part of the M&A due diligence process, review and comment on the proposed scope, schedule and cost associated with the project.
  • Assist in building CIMS processes, workflows and standards for facility evaluations
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers within the organization.
