Job summary

Asper Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Designer to join a well-established glazing specialist in London. You will own design delivery, producing fully coordinated packages for complex façades and coordinating with architects, consultants and contractors.

The role requires a strong technical background in curtain walling and glazing systems, the ability to manage workloads to programme, and effective communication with clients and internal teams. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' façade design experience, specifically curtain walling, windows and doors.
• Proven ability to design complex interfaces, fixings and aluminium pressings.
• Strong technical understanding of façade systems and structural integration.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce complete design packages: elevations, GAs, sections and detailed workshop drawings.
• Develop and resolve complex interfaces, fixings, bracketry, pressings and flashings.
• Prepare technical specifications and supporting documents to demonstrate compliance.
• Deliver accurate first submissions and maintain design delivery to programme.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants and main contractor design teams.
• Attend design workshops, site meetings and inspections as needed.
• Liaise with Estimating, Procurement, QS, Production and Site teams.
• Support internal design governance, document control and client systems.
