Key Responsibilities
  • Press Releases: Create engaging press releases that spotlight groundbreaking research and impactful stories.
  • Media Relations: Manage media inquiries, facilitate interviews, and provide guidance to interviewees.
  • Networking: Develop and maintain a diverse range of media contacts to enhance our outreach.
  • Digital Engagement: Work with colleagues to produce captivating digital content, including social media posts, videos, and podcasts.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Compile weekly news round‑ups for senior management using a media monitoring service.
  • Campaigns: Assist in developing content for key campaigns, including student recruitment and graduation events.
  • Event Support: Play a crucial role in high‑profile events, ensuring media engagement and visibility.
