Job summary

Beazley is seeking aSenior Expense Actuals Analyst to support monthly expense processes, reporting and analytics for the group. The role focuses on expense actuals, management reporting, and control processes to optimise the expense ratio.

Responsibilities include developing month-end processes, providing expert expense insights, and delivering high-quality reporting with compelling insights for stakeholders across Finance and the business.

Qualifications

• Expense management expertise: knowledge of expense accounting, management reporting, cost allocations, variance analysis and month-end processes, with strong understanding of planning and forecasting interactions.
• Communication and storytelling: conveying financial insights to decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with Finance Business Partners to understand activity and reporting needs.
• Enable rapid interpretation and data updates with a feedback loop for accuracy.
• Communicate insights to stakeholders using visuals and storytelling.
• Update KPIs to identify risks/opportunities and share recommendations.
• Support improving data quality, reporting, and commentary to aid decisions.
• Assist in streamlining month-end processes and reporting timelines.
• Update metrics and targets for expense control from projects affecting results.
• Review expense processes with Expense Accounting managers and implement changes.
