Job summary

HornerSalus Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Safety Advisor to join a leading event and fire safety organisation. The role is full-time with a hybrid model based in the London Area, offering exposure to high-profile projects across the UK and beyond.

The candidate will oversee safety planning, risk assessments, and fire safety procedures for live events, coordinating with clients and venues, and delivering meticulous safety support under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate L3 or NCRQ minimum
• Strong ability to produce safety plans and risk assessments
• 3+ years in a similar safety role
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Fire Safety qualification at L3/L4
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good planning and time management
• Diplomacy and discretion in handling high‑level information
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Concentration and sustained focus on tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist in composing and implementing safety solutions for live events and workplaces
• Conduct feasibility studies, audits, site inspections, and reporting
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and venues on safety procedures
• Prepare event safety plans, risk assessments, emergency procedures, and crowd management plans
• Produce fire risk assessments and safety documentation
• Work on-site at live events as a safety advisor
• Attend client and venue meetings, inspections and briefings
