Job summary

Centrica Energy in London is seeking a Senior ETRM Developer to lead development, enhancements, and support of our OpenLink Endur environment, with close collaboration across Front, Middle and Back Office teams.

Based at the Park House office, the role requires on-site presence three days per week, with occasional travel to Aalborg and Antwerp as part of our global energy trading operations, delivering robust, scalable trading systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with OpenLink Endur development and support.
• Proficiency with JVS or OpenComponents and Java.
• Strong Java and enterprise integration skills.
• Oracle PL/SQL database development expertise.
• Experience supporting production trading systems.
• Ability to work across SDLC phases.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain OpenLink Endur functionality.
• Design and support integrated applications for Front, Middle and Back Office using Java/OpenComponents.
• Analyze and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages and DB solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in SDLC activities from analysis to release.
• Create automated tests and deployment solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and user guides.
• Investigate production issues and ensure stability.
• Deliver work to agreed standards and timelines.
