Job summary

DWS Group in London seeks a Senior Capital Markets Specialist to lead ETF/ETP primary market activities, drive market intelligence, and collaborate across Sales, Portfolio Management and Operations. You will manage relationships with market participants and support new product launches and listings.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with market data platforms, and a proactive, collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid working in the UK is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in ETF/ETP capital markets and related trading environments.
• Strong understanding of market structure and regulatory considerations.
• Advanced data analysis using Python or SQL.
• Proven project leadership and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders and clients.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg/Reuters market data platforms.
• CFA qualification or candidacy would be beneficial.
• Degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of Xtrackers ETP primary market processes, focusing on efficiency and scalability.
• Provide strategic, operational, and market expertise to Sales, Portfolio Management, Marketing, Operations and Product teams.
• Identify, manage and mitigate operational risks with robust governance and escalation procedures.
• Support product launches, cross-listings and platform developments with internal stakeholders.
• Develop and enhance primary market mechanisms enabling tight spreads and strong liquidity.
• Build and own relationships with authorised participants, market makers, brokers-dealers and exchanges.
• Engage with exchanges on market structure, trading platform requirements and regulatory developments.
• Lead development of market intelligence, trading analytics and data management to inform strategy.
• Collaborate to maximise value delivered to clients through market data, research and analytics.
