Job summary
Westone Housing Ltd seeks a Senior Estimator to deliver accurate pricing submissions for public sector, social housing, commercial and insurance-related projects. You will work with operations, supply chain and senior leadership to secure profitable contracts and drive value across repairs, maintenance, adaptations and decarbonisation programmes.
The role covers tendering for responsive repairs, planned maintenance, refurbishments and new build works under £1M, with a strong emphasis on
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator.
- Experience pricing refurbishment, maintenance or planned works contracts.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Review tender documentation, drawings and specifications.
- Develop labour, material and subcontractor costings.
- Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
- Support bid submissions and client presentations.
- Participate in tender reviews and adjudications.
- Provide handover information following contract award.
