Qualifications

  • Recognised Electrical or Mechanical Technician qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent).
  • Significant practical experience working independently on estates plant and systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of specifications, drawings, and manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to breakdowns day and night as part of a shift rota.
  • Carry out maintenance and fault-finding on critical systems.
  • Support installations and refurbishments of building fabrications.
  • Conduct risk assessments for medium and high-risk tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.

Skills

Electrical or Mechanical Technician qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent)
Practical experience on estates plant and systems
Technical knowledge of specifications and drawings
Ability to make informed decisions under pressure
Flexibility to travel across Trust sites
