Job summary

Berkeley Group is seeking a Senior Estates Manager to lead the Estates team across London projects and ensure robust operations, risk management and delivery of complex developments. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders, manage high‑complexity sites, oversee building safety compliance and service charge governance, and mentor junior colleagues while driving excellence in estates functions.

Qualifications

• Extensive estates and leasehold management experience.
• Strong knowledge of TP1s, head leases and service charge governance.
• Experience managing complex residential or mixed-use developments.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage escalations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Estates Team and set priorities.
• Escalation point for complex estate issues including compliance and design.
• Manage high-complexity or high-risk developments with robust handovers and inspections.
• Oversee managing agents, budgets, procurement, CAPEX planning and lease/TP1 alignment.
• Ensure Building Safety compliance and safety case responsibilities.
