Our estates play a vital role in delivering compassionate, person-centred care, and we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Estates and Facilities Manager to help us maintain and develop those spaces.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a key leadership role in shaping our estate for the future. You’ll support the Head of Estates and Sustainability in delivering our estates strategy, ensuring that our premises are safe, compliant, efficient, and environmentally responsible. You’ll also contribute to our ambitious 2030 Net Zero target, helping Everyturn lead the way in sustainable, people-focused environments.

What you’ll do:

As our Senior Estates and Facilities Manager, you’ll provide hands‑on leadership and strategic support across a diverse property portfolio. You’ll manage and mentor a small team, oversee maintenance operations, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the day‑to‑day management of estates operations, ensuring all sites are safe, compliant, and person‑centred.
  • Managing and developing the Estates and Facilities team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help colleagues perform at their best.
  • Overseeing contractors and suppliers to ensure high standards, value for money, and adherence to legal and environmental requirements.
  • Supporting the delivery of capital projects, ensuring they are delivered professionally, on time, and within budget.
  • Developing and maintaining planned preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring all certification is up to date.
  • Managing an operational budget of up to £500,000, monitoring expenditure and supplier performance.
  • Conducting and supporting regular property inspections, ensuring compliance with statutory and mandatory requirements.
  • Maintaining an approved contractor register and ensuring robust contract management processes are followed.
  • Leading on energy consumption monitoring and reporting to support our sustainability goals.
  • Responding to requests from regulatory bodies, landlords, and other stakeholders to maintain a high‑quality, compliant service.
  • Deputising for the Head of Estates and Sustainability when required.
What we’re looking for:

You’ll be a confident and experienced estates professional with a strong understanding of compliance, property management, and sustainability. You’ll be skilled at leading people, managing projects, and finding practical solutions in a fast‑paced environment.

Essential qualifications and experience:
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (or willingness to work towards).
  • IWFM or RICS professional membership (or working towards).
  • Substantial experience in estates and facilities management, delivering against a varied estates strategy.
  • Proven experience managing people, contracts, and budgets.
  • Demonstrable experience with Health & Safety in estates and facilities environments.
  • Understanding of statutory legislation, building services, and best practice in facilities management.
  • Knowledge of the Building Safety Act, GDPR, and estates decarbonisation principles.
You’ll also have:
  • Strong communication, numeracy, and IT skills (including Microsoft 365).
  • Excellent problem‑solving and investigative skills.
  • The ability to manage a high‑volume workload while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A collaborative, compassionate leadership style aligned with Everyturn’s values.
