Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Senior ESG Regulatory Change Analyst in London to support sustainability disclosures, assess regulatory change and strengthen governance and controls within the Regulatory Programme Office.

You will translate complex requirements into practical actions for global and European teams, review ESG data and develop scalable processes for clear, credible reporting. The role offers a hybrid working model and opportunities to shape Vanguard’s sustainability agenda.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience in sustainability reporting or sustainability regulatory change in financial services.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear business actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience managing workstreams, priorities and dependencies in a complex environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyse sustainability-related regulatory, industry and reporting requirements for Vanguard’s business and disclosures.
• Contribute to the preparation and enhancement of sustainability disclosures and related materials.
• Translate complex requirements into practical recommendations and executive communications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, data, legal, compliance, and operations.
• Facilitate workshops to define requirements and develop implementation solutions.
• Support governance and oversight, documenting decisions and escalating risks.
• Review ESG data, methodologies and supporting information for quality and transparency.
• Develop scalable governance arrangements and technology-enabled reporting processes.
• Coach junior colleagues and share best practices across teams.
• Build understanding of Vanguard’s sustainability approach and industry context.
