We're seeking a Senior Equipment Process Specialist (Senior, UF6 Systems Specialist) to join our Engineering & Design Authority (E&DA) team at our Capenhurst site. In this highly influential role, you will provide specialist technical leadership across the full lifecycle of UF6 process equipment, supporting Urenco's enrichment, chemical processing, and associated plant systems.
As the subject matter expert, you will lead the specification, design, selection, qualification, and ongoing management of critical process equipment, ensuring the highest standards of nuclear safety, regulatory compliance, engineering excellence, and operational performance. Your responsibilities will span equipment design and optimisation, design refresh and requalification programmes, supplier qualification and oversight, design change management, technical documentation, training, and supply chain assurance activities.
Working within the Design Engineering team, you will play a key role in supporting capital investment projects, plant modifications, operational troubleshooting, and the development of innovative technologies through R&D initiatives. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Urenco's global sites, you will ensure that UF6 process equipment remains safe, reliable, fit for purpose, and aligned with both current and future business needs.
