We are a specialist project management consultancy supporting the development and delivery of major energy and infrastructure projects across England, Wales and Scotland.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead the environmental work-streams of complex infrastructure projects from early concept and feasibility through consenting, pre-construction and Final Investment Decision (FID).
Working as part of integrated client and project teams, you will coordinate environmental strategy, surveys, assessments and technical inputs, ensuring environmental considerations are embedded within project planning and decision-making. You will provide clear oversight of programme, risk, cost and deliverables while managing relationships with developers, technical specialists, regulators and other stakeholders.
This role would suit someone who understands both the technical and project management requirements of environmental delivery and can confidently operate in a client-facing consultancy environment.
You will have experience managing environmental work-streams within the development of major infrastructure, energy or other complex projects. You may come from an environmental consultancy, developer, engineering consultancy or client-side project delivery background.
You should be comfortable taking ownership of multiple work-streams, working with limited supervision and translating complex environmental information into clear actions and decisions.
You will join a specialist consultancy working on complex, nationally important infrastructure projects during the development stages when effective environmental leadership can have the greatest influence on project outcomes.
The role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams across the UK. You will also have the opportunity to help shape our environmental project management offering as the business continues to grow.
