Qualifications

  • A recognised Environmental Health qualification and experience in housing or public health enforcement.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health or willingness to achieve it.
  • Strong knowledge of housing, public health, and enforcement legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and developing a team of up to 6 officers and assistants.
  • Leading inspections of private rented properties and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Taking enforcement action against non-compliant landlords.

Education
