Job summary

A leading construction company is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join their Social Value team in Sheffield. The role involves supporting sustainability outcomes during preconstruction and construction phases and requires knowledge of various construction sustainability schemes. Ideal candidates will have incident management training and be passionate about sustainability. The role is primarily on site with some flexibility in hours.

Qualifications

• Passion for sustainability with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage incidents independently.
• Ability to travel to and between sites, being on site 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Support projects in pre-construction for sustainability outcomes.
• Conduct environmental inspections and audits.
• Investigate environmental incidents and develop learning outcomes.
• Prepare sustainability metrics and report progress.
• Chair meetings to drive sustainability agenda.

Skills

PIEMA or working towards

Incident management training

Knowledge of sustainability schemes (BREEAM, CEEQUAL, LEED, WELL)

Strong data/statistical analysis skills
