Job summary

Clancy is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to support major infrastructure projects, including HS2 and Thames Water. You will work with project teams from planning through delivery, providing practical environmental guidance and helping maintain standards.

You will lead environmental risk assessments, audits and monitoring, ensuring compliance with legislation and client requirements while driving sustainability improvements across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in environmental advisory roles within construction, infrastructure or utilities.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation and management systems.
• Experience conducting site inspections, audits and investigations.
• Ability to communicate with teams at all levels and provide practical environmental advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental advice and support to project and operational teams across HS2 and Thames Water contracts.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and environmental monitoring and drive corrective actions.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of Environmental Management Plans and project requirements.
• Advise on environmental risks, controls and legal requirements.
• Maintain environmental records and contribute to reporting against project objectives.
