Job summary

Executive-Network-Group is recruiting two Senior Environmental Advisors to support a major UK infrastructure project in Birmingham. You will help ensure environmental compliance and assist with the project Environmental Management System.

The role requires ISO 14001 knowledge, strong communication, and a degree in environmental or scientific discipline, with IEMA membership preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction/infrastructure environments.
• Proficient with Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001).
• Experience conducting environmental inspections and audits.
• Degree in environmental or scientific field or equivalent.
• IEMA Practitioner membership or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental guidance to site and construction teams.
• Conduct environmental inspections and audits.
• Support EMS implementation on the project.
• Monitor environmental aspects such as water, waste, ecology, noise and dust.
• Manage environmental risks, incidents and corrective actions.
• Produce environmental reports and promote best practice.
• Mentor junior environmental team members.

Senior Environmental Advisor x2

Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + package

Location: Birmingham and Greater Birmingham

We are currently recruiting for x2 Senior Environmental Advisors to join a leading infrastructure contractor working on a major UKinfrastructure and civil engineering project.

You will work closely with the Environmental Manager andinfrastruture teams to ensure environmental compliance and support the delivery of the project’s Environmental Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Provide environmental guidance to site and construction teams
• Conduct environmental inspections and audits
• Support implementation of environmental management systems
• Monitor areas including water, waste, ecology, noise, dust and pollution prevention
• Manage environmental risks, incidents and corrective actions
• Produce environmental reports and promote best practice
• Support and mentor junior environmental team members

About you

• Environmental experience within construction or infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Environmental Management Systems and ISO 14001
• Experience completing environmental inspections and audits
• Degree in an environmental or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience
• Practitioner-level IEMA membership or equivalent
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

Experience relating to environmental consents would be advantageous but is not essential.
